.:.1993 Mazda Mx6.:.

I bought this '93 straight out of high school. Summer of 2002. It proceeded to slowly "fall apart" if you will. A week after I bought it the A/C went out and we were having 96 to 102 degree weather that year. I reluctantly drove it out to Gresham from Hillsboro and back everyday. Then, about 8 months later, after I had moved to Corvallis for school, I was heading home one morning for a funeral and the motor throws a rod in the middle of I-5 in the middle of Salem. The market street overpass to be exact. It was out of commission for 5 months until I could buy a new engine and swap it in. Summer of '03, it gets a new soul. A KL-ZE. Oh the joys. Aside from being a leaky bastard it ran great. It was just the car itself that was on a continuous downward spiral of things breaking and things that simply just quit working.
Continue that process for the next 3 years...
Winter of '06 December 18th...freezing fog and a 95 red Civic coupe...the ever courageous and strong willed Mazda had met it's match. And for once, came out on bottom. The damage from this incident was both more than I could fix on my own and would cost more than I was willing to spend on a car that was well, on it's way out anyways.
New plans in store...swap the heart out of the silver one into a new body.
And so it begins...
What it used to look like before father time and a bunch of idiots tainted it.

Few photos from the first swap.
