This truck is probably one of the rarest late model pickup trucks you will ever see! I know what your thinking,"whats the deal with the funky colors". Well everything on the truck is factory equipment. (except the dual exhausts). In case your wondering, Rod Hall is a famous off-road racer,(baja 500, etc...). "The first Rod Hall Signature trucks debuted in 1987 and were set up by Rod Hall himself in Reno, NV. Only seven made it onto the showroom floor before the NHTSA stepped in and halted their sale because of the extensive suspension modifications. Since they had huge springs, dual shocks at all four corners, and hard as a brick suspension components, they were deemed unsafe for street use and the govt. forced a recall of all the sold trucks. Two years passed, and then in 1990 word got out that there were a handfull of Rod Hall Trucks being built. Only 33 were built before Rod Hall got too busy to fool with them. Thats about as rare as a late model vehicle can get. On top of that, one of the trucks was destroyed in shipment. Other than the obvious cosmetic touches, the truck features over-sized Rancho shocks and larger springs than a standard 150 series 4x4.Power comes from a basic 318 cubic inch engine. In the meantime, if you see a faded red and black 4x4 on a used car lot with odd decals, youd better check it out, you just might have stumbled across something extremely rare."

As you can see the paint and stripes have faded and I had a minor disagreement with the front end of a minivan(not my fault). I had the truck all through High school and sold it the year after I graduated. Now Im 22 and Im starting to wish I kept it. But for a kid who was in high school with a minimum wage job I did my best to take care of it. I know you want to know why I didnt fix it. Well I bought an 88 Ramcharger with the insurance money, and then my brother wrecked my dads VW GTI. Soooo, my dad ended up driving the Ramcharger, and it turns out that it was too good to use for parts. It was an ex-border patrol truck. So Ive sold the Rod Hall truck to a guy in California who is going to restore it. But i love this truck and im gonna miss it. I have also had to sell the Ramcharger. :-(
