** 18 March 2007 **

The Turd Bird is gone. I sold it today to a Ford guy that's probably going to race it (he showed up in a nice modified Cobra).

I hated to get rid of it but we needed money to finish our kitchen remodel. I've got a few other project cars, anyway, so this way I can devote more attention to the others.

It was kinda sad to see it drive away...

This is Project: Turd Bird

The name of the car was given by my wife for obvious reasons... it looked like a turd when I bought it. You can't polish a turd; I know, I tried. Because of that I've decided to stick with the theme and make this a sleeper of sorts. I'm putting the shit back into 'shit-n-get'.

I will clean the exterior and interior up a little just for asthetics but won't be putting much focus on them because that's not going to be the core of this car. I want this to look like a big rolling turd so that when I'm waiting on them to catch up, I'll be having the last laugh.

Follow along as I begin this voyage into unconventional -- although somewhat traditional -- hot-rodding.

Way to go man, Looks like youve got a big project to do. Alot of little things can get tiring. Atleast youve got another car to drive while your working on it. Come check out my hatch sometime. - Sweeteffx
