I'm the one on the left, to the right is my awesome older brother.
Ok, first about me: I'm 17 and I'm a second rate mechanic / tow truck driver in Sun Valley, Idaho. All my time and livelihood is invested in my F-150 and spreading my love for cars to others (Herein I started a streetracing organization in Sun Valley: http://sunvalleystreetsport.tripod.com/index.html). Everything in my car I can point to and say how many hours it took me to work for that part or service or whatever. I do all my work myself, I guess if I can't put a part in I don't need it.
For my car: My truck is a 2001 Ford F-150 XLT, 5.4 liter. I supercharged it with a supercharger from a lightning and had to replace most of the belt accessories (alternator, water pump, etc.) because of all the surprises that came therein. After working (riding my bike to work) without my car while getting enough money to put in my supercharger (about $8,000 now from pulleys to PCM tuning) I got in trouble for minor in consumption and was ordained (?) by the court to not drive my truck, twice... and then for streetracing. So all in all I haven't driven my truck all that much since it's always in pieces or illegal to drive.
Other than my [eaton] supercharger I have lightning force lower pulleys (From 5lb - 20lb boost), a volant cold air intake, Borla cat-back duel exhaust, a xcalibrater 3-tune programmer programmed by Mike Troyer of Superchips programming, duel 16 inch electric fans, a 180 degree thermostat, wider liquid-to-air intercooler, transgo shift kit, mallory (?) 240 lpm fuel pump, 48 lb injectors, denso iridium plugs, and a 2r/4f inch drop.
Inside I have removable police lights and siren/PA system (sometimes you have to join em' to beat em), duel 12" pioneer subs in a custom enclosure for the back seat powered by a 840w Audiobahn amp; feeding the audio is a Pioneer AVH-P5700 DVD system with a Pioneer AVG-VDP1 GPS Vehicle Dynamics Processor providing me all my 'must-know-info', more must-know-info comes from my triple gauge pot pillar by matrix tuning with transmission temp / air-fuel / and boost gauges all by autometer. A goofy red neon scheme lights up the cab at night through the vents, by the pedals, and from inside the seatbelt holes (if that makes sense).
Always up for a race.
