Belts went in and my recovered back dash went in as well.

When the weather finally started to get warm up here in Canada, I had started work on the stang again. The interior was my main priority followed by installing the ttop weatherstripping and adjusting it(big pain in the rear).

Well it took some time and I got my recovered headliner up in the car with the recovered sunvisors. All that was left was to fold the headliner around the openings and put the hold down strips on.

Next I installed the interior rear 1/4 panels. These were originally grey and were dyed black.

After cutting the carpet wrong(ahhhhh), I was so frustrated with the car I wanted to sell the damn thing. Then I decided to calm down and gather my thoughts. So I took all the pieces that were from the hole I cut to big and sewed them back in and seam sealed it. It looked almost perfect!!. After it was done I went to a wrecker found a carpet and used it to trace the correct size and positioning of the holes. As you can see it turned out not too bad(minus the tools on it in the pic)

I decided to put a period correct steering wheel in it and found this one off ebay. The picture beside it are correct exhaust hangers for dual exhaust.

Lastly, Is a pic of the engine. it still needs a new fan shroud and some wire looms but it looks better than when I fist dropped it in. I painted the ignition module, brake booster, master cylinder cover and cleaned the base, I also cleaned the brake lines the were "accidently" painted.

Some more stuff completed:
I finished the healiner off by folding and gluing the headliner around the ttop opening.

Next I finished installing the aupolstery for the rear seat and started the front seats. Well because I ordered exact replacement aupolstery for my car, the front GT seats I got from a wrecker won't work because of the foam differences. So I found some donner seats to get the correct foam from. The framework and halo headrests was the only thing I reused from the front seats.

The decision on rims was hard. I finally decided on Turbines to still have that "1980's Period" look. The origial wheels on the car were TRX's and tires are $500.00 a piece.

Well here are the turbines on the car but I still need to put the brake dust shields behind them and the new lug nuts.
