Well, working on the interior and changing my mind a few times, I decided that the interior would go all black. Here are some pics of the interior parts that were dyedand painted.
These were grey and now look factory black

This is my front and back dash. The back dash I got recovered and the front dash is a UNCRACKED ORIGINAL DASH!

My seats have yet to be recovered....Just imagine them with black leather sides and black cloth in the center.

The progress on the body took longer than expected durring the resto. Fenders, Hood and Trunk lid are fixed and the pimer sanding coat is applied as shown. Now for the bad news......The rust had shown itself.

Here are the Fenders, hood and deck lid ready for sanding

Well here is the story on the rust. Over 23 years the rain and water ran through the channel where the T-top pin goes through, built up rust from the bottom all the way to the top.

As in the pictures shown, I will be needing new floor pan. It has rust, cracks and the mounting bracket for the seat bolts is shot. So I bought both sides so everthing will be new.

at this point my car sits at a stand still till I got more pieces to fix all the rust.
