Here's a fairly detailed explanation of how I installed the HV3. I might not have done this completely correctly, so as a disclaimer, this may not be the best way to do this. However, it worked fine for me. I wanted to make sure that i explained this so that the most mechanically illiterite could understand what to do.

Here's the 3800 just chillin

These are the fuel rail bolts (10mm). I had to remove these so that i could move the fuel rail out of the way.

These are the fuel rail bolts on the other side of the intake manifold. There are 4 bolts total.

These are the wires that i had to either unplug or move out of the way. There were also some wires that i had to unplug that are right by the valve cover by the oil cap.

The arrow pointing at the middle of the intake is showing where one of the bolts were for the intake (8mm). I think there were 8 bolts or something (give or take). The arrow pointing at the throttle body shows a wire that i unpluged so that i could make room for the fuel rail to move.

The arrow to the left shows another hole where one of the intake bolts were. The arrow to the right shows were one of the fuel lines are. This is something that i kept an eye on b/c if i moved it the wrong way some of the fuel would come out of it.

(Sorry for the bad pic) This shows an intake bolt that cannot be removed without moving the alt. out of the way.

The bottom circle shows where the alt. was bolted at (i had to completely take off the alt. and move it out of the way). The circle with an arrow pointed to it shows one of the holes that a fuel injector was (they pop right out, it took me a while to figure that out, lol). The double arrow shows that i had to move the fuel rail in that direction.

This shows a braket that i had to pull up and over a bolt by the throttle body.

I'm holding the intake manifold up and the arrows show the old gasket that was in there. Pull this out, put the new gasket and the HV3 in here.

(Sorry for another bad pic). This shows the old plastic piece that comes in the manifold. I took this out and replaced it with the HV3 and the new gasket.

This pic shows the HV3 inside with the new gasket. I put that bolt in to hold the gasket b/c everything wanted to move around a lot when i was putting everything back together. This was much easier to put back together then to take apart, lol.

Thanks man you've gotta nice monte on your hands too. The interior looks great and I like how the back panal matches the car. I bought mine in june of 08 and it had a lot of work to be done under the hood. So It took me a year and a lot of money to get that up to par. Im still learning a lot about upgrading performance wise so im focising on the exteroir for now. Im gonna tint it all around within the next couple weeks. Rims in the spring cause you know how these winters are. Then maybe a paint job.
