VNM_V3N0M's 1969 AMC AMX

first things first was to tackle the electrical issues, move all of the electrical off of the firewall and back to where it is supposed to mount. we came to the conclusion that this happened due to the trunk batterybox not having a long enough cord to run it properley. i really need to take more pics to get this page looking good, until then i have more pics @ photobucket

currentley has a chevy 350 with a big cam, although i think it makes for more noise than it does performance, even though prev. owner blew a mopar 8 3/4 with this drivetrain with a different intake manifold. Plans are to eventually replace the 350/TH350 combo with the stock 390/M-12 combo. have all the major stuff almost done, now its collecting the small stuff to one day bring it back to what it should be in all of its Big Bad Orange (Go-Pac) glory

how cool is this?

Thanks for the heads up, but I'm hoping for something a little closer to cut down on the shipping costs. if i haven't found one by the time i get home then I'll give Tony a call. I've been to Frank's website and I like those hoods but the guy doing the bodywork won't touch my car unless I have a steel hood for it. He's awesome at what he does and I'll do what ever he asks. He's a big AMC fan and has owned a few bad ass AMC's. 3 Machines, 4 Donohue Javelins, 3 AMX's, and an SC/360 Hornet to name a few. Check out his site at members.cox.net/mcsuperbee/images/ Past/1970_blue/1970_blue_machine.htm. You can navigate from there. i can't pull up his site from here but it's pretty cool. Thanks for checking out my site!

Nice find! Good luck with the resto!! I'm in the same boat as you, finding parts can get pricy with these cars.
