This car's future has been drastically changed since I last posted. It has been stripped, gutted, and weight reduced. Currently it is without a engine and it is getting ready for the 1/4 mile.

Mods currently consist of:

Engine:
1.9L DOHC
Ported and polished head
Port matched intake
4-2-1 Headerdump
Nology Hotwires
Accell coilpacks
NX EFI wet kit
AEM underdrive pully
Removed power steering
More coming........

Suspension:
Wheelie bars (under construction)
Progress 1.8" drop springs
Rebuilt front suspension (coming soon)
Rebuilt rear suspension (coming soon)

Brakes:
None yet

Wheels:
22.5x9.5x15 slicks with 11" wide steel rims, 13" steelies in the rear

Exterior:
Plexiglass windows
Fibreglass front clip

Interior:
None, drag racing aluminum seat, racing harness, steering wheel, shifter, a few guages, switches and buttons.

Stereo:
What the hell is that?

Plans this year

This year I am going to be focusing on getting traction, will be doing that by rebuilding the front and rear suspensions, and adding wheelie bars. I am also collecting parts todo a turbo setup, with dry ice intercooler.

So on with the new pics

New fuel tank, the drag strips didn't like the placement of the old fuel cell, so I got a aftermarket pump, and made a much smaller tank

Hey Jeremy nice job on your dragin wagen, I have a Jetta and it is grosely obease but I love it. My next project is going to be an eclipse GSX semi lightweight for circit track. how much does your car weigh now? what do you expect to run next time at the track? and won't you need a roll cage? good luck with everything, L8r
