Here are some pictures of the electric water pump install and porting job I did on the intake.
This picture shows how much of the fan shroud had to be clearanced in order for the pump to clear.
Here is where I tapped in for the pump power. There is also a relay in the circuit, which is shown by the wiring diagram in the second picture.
When installing the pump, the pump driveshaft/bearing (located in the engine block) and pump coupler must be removed. A plug came with the pump in order to plug the hole left in the back of the water pump housing, but I had to find a plug of suitable size for the timing cover. Here is a front and backside picture on the timing cover plug, held in with JB weld.
When installing a 58mm throttle body, the intake must be ported because it only has 52mm holes. I, unfortunately, did not get a before picture, but I have after pics! As you can tell with the gasket on, I was just a wee bit off in the porting, but close enough for government work! :-)
