Two lines of missing pixels.
10/6/2002: Since the taking of the above picture, additional pixels have dropped. Depending on the ambient temperature, they all may work, or more may be out. I have spoken with BMWNA regarding this and they claim that "it is not a known problem." Figures.
11/3/2003: Here's what the instrument cluster and MID look like now! These aren't just missing pixels, there's whole parts missing.

UPDATE: Feb 2004 - BMWNA agreed to cover the cost of the instrument cluster and MID replacement due to issues with pixels dropping. They covered 100% of the cost of parts and labor. If you need information on how to get this replaced at BMW's cost, please email me.
7/2004: This phone has been removed from the car and replaced with the BMW Bluetooth ULF. See page 9 for more details.
