Hi there ppls this is my 2.0l 16v 406 I've owned it for just over a year now but when I got it it was just a regular run of the mill Peugeot 406.
I opted for the GTX model as it came with most of the additions like climate control, electric seats, rear privacy blind
I really like the look of the 406 with it's long sharp styled body shape, excellent handling and spacious cabin.
After about a week of owning the 406 I noticed it was getting out of order the amount of people who try and flag you down on a Friday or Saturday night thinking it is a Taxi so it was time to change a few things.
First thing was to give the Lion a bit a growl rather than a purr so it was booked in for a cat-back stainles steel exhaust system with the centre box removed and a 6.5 inch oval tail pipe.

This turned a few heads when driving down the street so I then got a custom made induction kit just to help the car breath a little better.pug406gtx's 1999 Peugeot 406

Folk still decided to think it was a taxi just thought maybe there was a Subaru behind me or something so I browsed through eBay and opted for an e-Tech alluminium twin blade spoiler, these are not to everybodys taste but I like it. I then got the graphics shipped from america via eBay.com which worked out a great deal cheaper than buying them in the UK and decided to give it a go with fitting them myself.

Changed the handling a bit dropping it 40mm with g-max springs and then got new shoes for it a nice set of 18" hijoin alloys running on 215/35/18 falken rubber
pug406gtx's 1999 Peugeot 406 now it takes corners like it is on a set of rails.

I also fitted a full set of under car neons (blue) and a couple of other neons inside the car, Fitted the PS2 and a 7" screen inside the car.

Changed the stereo as the standard Clarion model didn't have pre-out for na amp so got a Sony cd player, JVC 150 watt 6x9's, 2x Boss 300 watt 10" subs powered by a SPL 900 watt amp.
