This is my '57 210 4 Door today.

Update:  7/1/09 Havent had the time or money lately to do much to the car.  it is still pretty much in the same stage of re assembly, 57BillS's 1957 Chevrolet 210

Here is what it looked like when I started.

It is 210 4 door sedan, Powered by a 1957 SBC 283 V8 and a Stock 3-speed moved down off of the Column. I am currently in the process of putting the car in to primer after SandBlasting from top to bottom. 57BillS's 1957 Chevrolet 210 Some people ask why didn't you take it clear off the frame.57BillS's 1957 Chevrolet 210 My only real reason was that I didn't want to take out the windshield and back window. They don't leak and have damage so it stayed on the frame. 57BillS's 1957 Chevrolet 210 I suppose with a lot of equipment that i don't already have it could have been done, but it is turning out pretty good so far. 57BillS's 1957 Chevrolet 210 57BillS's 1957 Chevrolet 210

This is my first time to restore a car, so things are going to take me awhile to finish this thing , but I hope to have it back on the road(unfinished) by fall.

Here it is " its Fall" and the 57 isn't on the road yet. Things are going back together, but it is still going to be a while.

I chose the 4 door sedan because my wife and I have just had our second child and we thought it would be much easier to haul the kids to the car shows that we follow my dad to each weekend, and still have our own classic Chevy.57BillS's 1957 Chevrolet 210

Long terms plans are to add PS, PB, new Crate 350, and 4-Speed.
The interior is going to be a mild custom job that will still uphold the factory feel. It likely will be painted a Metallic Gray, but my ideas are changeing every day.

(Update) Now it will be the original turquoise w/white top.

well 1 step forward 2 steps back.

I started roughing the primer for paint and found a couple of place the primer wasn't attached good. Come to find out pretty much all the primer had to come back off and going to start it over.oh well its all in fun.
