It's finally the beginning of the assembly process. I've got a long way to go before this thing even starts to look like a truck again.

After ten years of Minnesota winters, the frame of the Ranger was looking pretty sad.

281ranger's 1998 Ford Ranger

After many hours of stripping undercoating and rust, I've decided if I do this again I'll just send the frame out to be sandblasted. This was a long dirty job.

Once the frame was cleaned to my satisfaction I coated it with Por-15. I think it came out pretty good. Now I can start working on all the stuff that bolts to the frame.
