The suspension and drivetrain. Simple swaps. The lower control arms are the only stock part of the front end. The recieved 92-02 panther lower ball joints and Enegery suspension polyurethane bushings. Upper control arms, spindles, and brakes are all from a 98-02 panther. The steering box was pulled from a '02 Police Interceptor Crown Vic. Front sway bar is the stock 1 3/16" hollow wagon unit with polyurethane bushings at the frame mounts and endlinks. Front springs are upgraded from the 430lb/in stockers to a Street Stock (circle track stock car racing) application Hypercoil 1000lb/in coils. Rears have been upgraded from 182lb/in to Variable rate 200lb/in rated stock replacements from Autozone. 1" police interceptor rear swaybar and 95 Towncar rear discs are the only modifications currently to the rear of the car.

89CountrySquire's 1989 Ford LTD Country Squire Underside, big rear sway and 2.5" exhaust.

89CountrySquire's 1989 Ford LTD Country Squire 11" Rear discs.

89CountrySquire's 1989 Ford LTD Country Squire Front uppers with poly bushings. 98-02 Arms on the stock 89 crossbars. Gives me double the adjustment alignment wise.

89CountrySquire's 1989 Ford LTD Country Squire Front end pic Swaybar and inexpensive Advance Auto poly replacement swaybar bushings. Also note the rather beefy coils hiding the street stock Afco shock.

89CountrySquire's 1989 Ford LTD Country Squire New rear support. The few other crazies that have quick wagons have blown the rear axles apart. So, thanks to Artie at artsperformance.com I have an LPW support and stud kit. (and a nice LPW trans pan)

New BFG G-Force KDWS 255/50's on the Bullitt's. They ride much better than the old tires, mainly due to the amount of sidewall. They also fill out the wheelwell much better than the previous 245/45's. 89CountrySquire's 1989 Ford LTD Country Squire

Steering Update 6/07
I got rid of the rag joint. Welded a plate to the steering shaft and drilled it to accept the input adapter from the newer car. Works great. Very precise steering for a recirculating ball setup.

Your wagon looks beautiful and handles impressively. I watched your video before I picked up my wagon to see what a country squire looked like. The video doesn't do justice to the size of the thing.
