1992 25th Anniversary Cougar Special Edition
Tourmaline Green with a 3.8L V6 engine with 140hp and 215tq at 3800rpms has over 200,000 miles on it now (she is a trooper). It still runs great but the Cougar has lost some of its special 25th Anniversary badges but most people dont notice. (the Mercury and Cougar that was put on the trunk) Recently the Cougar has been in the shop since both window motors went out in the same week and the catalytic converter was going as well which isnt bad since the only thing to ever happen to it was the headgaskets blew a few years back.
This Cougar has been in the family since it was bought new by my grandfather in the summer of 1992. Even when I was little I would always help wash the Cougar and always thought the car was awsome. A few years later he sold it and my mom purchased the car from him and she fell in love with the car. When I turned 16 she bought a SUV and gave me the Cougar and since Ive bought the Lancer she wanted to keep the Cougar so now with gas being so high and the fact the cougar gets the best gas mileage out of all their cars they use the cougar as their daily driver.
