Power door swap
This page is to show the HORRIBLE experience that we had putting power doors on!
I had to use a holesaw to make the hole for the wires, that was easy. I then mounted the door, fed the wires through, changed my lock (that was fun), and swapped over my mirror casing as the new door had broken mounts for the power mirror motor.
The wiring was no fun... as the colors didn't all match to the diagrams... but once it was right, all the wires were fed thru the dash and to the passenger side, and tied up underneath.
I can't take all the credit though... hell I can barely take any! Nuno (AKA ilovemymr2 on mr2oc.com) did 99% of the work, and we spent 7 hours wiring it all up!! No joke!!
So now I have power windows, locks, and mirrors. Totally bad-ass.
