Now came the time to put the motor and trans back into the car. It was not that bad. Good thing that I did not put the new Summit Racing Headers on when I was installing the motor and the tranny at the same time. It would have never gone in. Once I had the motor and tranny in the car, but not yet bolted in I then installed the new headers. Since it is easer to lift the side of the motor up and tilt it at the sametime. Pioneer Street Performance Harmonic Balancer Flex-a-lite Wide Blade Flex Fan This whole project I have mainly done it by myself. Just something that I wanted to show my doctor that my surgery is going good.
OOOOO I forgot to say that I am in the Army and when I was stationed with 82nd Airborne, Fort Bragg, NC. I messed my back up really bad on an airborne jump out of a C-17. That was back in Sept 2000. I have been on some really good pain meds. Well I ended up getting back surgery in Sept 2005. I received two CHARITÉ™ Artificial Disc. They replaced my L2-L3 disk and the L5-S1 disk. Here are some x-rays of my back One nice thing that I can say now is that I last took my pain meds back in Nov 2005.
One thing that I should have replaced when I had my motor out of my car was my heater core. After driven my car for about a month half. I ended up having coolent seating on my passenger floor. I ended up replacing the heater core. Now one of the things that I am going to replace is my carpet in my car now. I guess that is going to be a month down the road or more.

HEY LUKUS-KEEP BOTH BIRDS! THEY WOULD LOOK BEAUTIFUL SIDE BY SIDE WHEN YOU GET THEM DONE. I HOPE YOUR BACK IS STILL OKAY. THANKS FOR SHARING THAT, MY LIL SIS IS GOING TO HAVE A SPINAL FUSION AROUND THE FIRST OF MARCH. I HOPE SHE WILL BE ABLE TO GET OFF THE PAIN MEDS, THEY ARE BAD NEWS. I WORKED IN DRUG AND ALCOHOL TREATMENT FOR 12 YEARS, ITS ALL BAD, BUT THOSE NEW ONES LIKE OXIs AND METHADONE ARE KILLING ALOT OF PEOPLE. CAN I ADD YOU TO MY FRIENDS LIST? MY BIRD IS A 79 AND I HAVE HAD IT SINCE 1985-LOVE IT MORE ALL THE TIME. IF I WAS ABLE, I WOULD HAVE A 1RST GEN TO PARK BESIDE MY CURRENT. TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS........FIRE-FIRE-I LOVE FIRE!
