JAMallottV6's 2000 Mercury Cougar

JAMallottV6's 2000 Mercury Cougar

This is my new 2000 Cougar V6 MTX. As you can see in a picture or 2 below, I also used to have a 1999 Cougar I4 ATX. I had the I4 for a little over 2 and a half years, and the V6 for about a year. I got too tired of the slowness of the I4, so I opted for the complete oposite end of the spectrum.

Mods thus far on the V6 include:
-SVT Upper Intake Manifold
-SVT Throttle Body
-SVT Clutch
-Jaged Rear Strut Tower Brace
-B&M short shifter
-Intrax front springs
-Roush rear springs
-Roush rear sway bar
-Koni front struts
-"European" style headlights (custom made by Jamie/jlcamp7)
-OMP front strut tower brace
-Carbon Fiber 3" intake intake
-blacked out tail lights
-black tail light covers
-"JAMallott" 3rd brake light cover (from Vinzdecals.com)
-shaved spoiler
-shorty antenna
-smoked side markers
-rear cross drilled and slotted rotors
-removed side molding
-Flowmaster muffler with 2.5" stainless steel piping
-Ford Racing spark plug wires
-Optima Red Top battery
-Koni struts
-01-02 shift knob
-01-02 HVAC face
-01-02 gauges
-GMK carbon fiber cold air intake extension
-EBC cross drilled and slotted rotors
-EBC Green Stuff pads

Some pictures have a body kit on the car. I got sick of it, and decided to sell it. It was the MinGarage (MG) front bumper and Roush sides and rear. Now the car is returned back to stock bodied.

and a few thank yous:
-Jared for helping me with practically everything from the first mod on the I4, to striping down the I4, to building up the V6. and for being such an all around great friend!
-Ohio NECO in general, and specifically Bennett9000, Pyro81, imgeorge78, Sled, Madcat, Linkman, Silverkat, XxNoMe4UxX, nadthomas, Cat88extreme, and Tygerr for their hard work on both cars with me and for their support and guidance all along the way.

how is getting a v6 the opposite end of the spectrum there is no spectrum when talking about motors the only way you could have went opposite in my opinion is if you would have went with an import. with that said nice car.
