This is my 1981 VW Rabbit Pickup. I bought it in Fall 2003. It has a 1.6L Turbo Diesel. I installed a veggie oil fuel system from greasecar.com with my friend Wally's help and it works great. I also upgraded from a 4 speed to 5 speed. I will eventually swap over from the square headlights to a single round setup. I'd like to meet other people working on rabbits in the hudson valley area.

installed Rhino Liner Fall 2005

Changed over to Corrado rims/50 series tires Summer 2005

MK3 Door Handles were a great improvement

Switching system to go from Diesel to Grease

FInally got a 1.6 Turbo Diesel engine! (June 2007)

Got a techtonics tuning custom fabbed 2.25 inch downpipe and one of their stock 2.25 inch stainless exhaust systems

where did you get that valve cover from? I dont think that is a stock cover.

I think it's a g60 valve cover, put on engine by guy who built it for me.

Hows the mileage and power on grease? Your caddy is exactly what i have planned for mine.. i wanna go 1.6td/wvo.. btw clean caddy, its awesome motivation for my projects.
