Thanks for taking time to check out my '92 Z28. It has a 383, auto transmission, 3.73 gears and lots of suspension upgrades. Scroll on down for a list of things done to the car. As with any project, things change often, so be sure to check in every now and then to see what's been going on.
I just had this engine installed in December of '07. It's a 383 four bolt block with Eagle crank and rods, Speed Pro 10.5 to 1 coated pistons with Sealed Power rings, AFR aluminum heads with 2.02 / 1.60 stainless steel valves, Crane Gold Race aluminum 1.5 roller rockers, custom Comp Cam with 224/230 @ .050 .577 / .592 lift. Holley Stealth Ram with 58mm throttle body, FAST 36 lb injectors, MSD Pro-Billet distributor, MSD 6AL ignition box with 7,000 rpm rev limiter, MSD Blaster ignition coil, 8.5 mm wires, Hooker ceramic headers with dual Flowmaster mufflers. Next stop is to take it to the tuner/dyno shop for some tuning and a custom burned "chip". Then I'll be ready to see what this thing can do. Soon after I'm going to put a little laughing gas on it.
