This is my 1977 trans-am,It was one of the first cars I ever got to drive as a kid,and ever since then I've wanted one.Well here is to the best women I know,my soon to be wife,and the great freinds around me who lied to me for months.And to you phil,I still have no clue how to thank you enough for your endless hours of labor you did on this . Phil found this t/a,and showed it to me, I wanted it bad,I tried to convince Laila to let me buy it,but it was bad timing with the wedding and all,and even told phil to talk to her. Well a week later she bought it,while phil fixed it up for about 7 months,and then on May 9th 2005 at Naperville dragway,all my freinds were there,as she shocked the hell out of me and told me im a proud owner of my dream car. Thanks babe,and thank you to all of my freinds you kept this such a secret for over 7 months. And now im 28 and I got my Trans-Am. I geuss what they say is true, good things come to people who wait. Now Im waiting on headers,Holley carb,and msd ignition. The car itself has a 400-4brl, and is a 4 speed Hurst transmission.
As for add on's, I put a k&n air filter,new shaker from the pontiac boys,new cd player,jvc speakers in the back,dale sr. cobra 29 cb,cobra antenna,new carpet,new t/a floor mats,door sills,new ctr console 5 inch monster tach,frame rails,Dynomax super turbo's,Toxico shocks,power-plus intake,Holley 650 carb,elecric choke,and she got the hurst handle engraved, that reads "love always Laila" thats all for now,but a whole lot on the way. WANT MORE POWER!! Thank you again babe for a gift I always dreamed of, you are the best ..
