CAR IS NOW SOLD!!!!

This Corolla Liftback has been with my family since it was released back in 1980 and this is one model(TE71) that originally came from Japan and was released in the LHD format. Most of its features are JDM versions but it lacks some options that i added on later.

The car as i remember it back then was used everyday by my dad in going to and from work and sometimes to provinces. It has accumulated more than 500,000km but the 2TC engine only gave up back in the mid-90's and we had to rebuild it then since that was the only option. It had also gone through several body paints and repair so that it could cope up with the times since most of the original panels had rust and we had to prevent it from spreading. Going back to the history of this corolla, this is also where i first learned to drive back in the late 80's-early 90's. I had gone through many experiences with this car as i grew up. In the mid-90's i had installed a custom sound system with this. I had made this car a total sound-off system until '98 when i got tired of car music, so i had to return everything back to stock...including the interior.

In 2000, i decided to do something else with this car and i wanted to restore it back to its original form and wanted to turn this into pure JDM model. I researched for new things to be done through the net and i fell in love with a 3tgte engine. I had sourced several of these models and have bought 3 3tg's but later on i sold it because i couldn't make it work because of all the missing parts. I later had sabbath and in 2003, i had a new engine placed in and its a 4ag 20V blacktop and i used it for several months and even used the car for racing but that only lasted until July'05 when i found a very rare engine...a 4TGTE. I have purchased this new engine and have cleaned it and will soon be swapped into the car...
