Here's my 96' Honda Accord LX Turbo. This car has been my little project since day one. It all started with your simple intake and exhaust system, and well, here it is today. The car handles great and is pretty darn quick with it's turbo 4 banger. Each and every mod has been done myself: damn proud of that!
NEWS: I finally got the chipped ECU working. Right now, I'm running 8-9 psi of boost on a fairly conservative timing curve. It runs much better than the old FMU set up.
I just got done making a custom exhaust system for it (really just an excuse to buy a MIG welder :) and that seemed to open it up a little more when the turbo gets spooling. Also took out the back seat and other interior items. It's not my daily driver anymore (2000 Nissan Frontier is my DD), so it's open season!
Anyways, check out my 1986 300zx, which will be getting the majority of my time now. I still have the engine to build for this little honda, but I might not take it as far as I had originally planed. I would be perfectly happy with an engine that could take 15-17 psi reliably, and with all the money going to the Z, that seems like a more realistic goal.
I guess next on my list of things to do would be to take a trip to the local dyno to fine tune some things and head on over to the track to see what she can do!
Be sure to tell me what you think of my car! Thanks for checking it out.
