This is a 1978 Diamond Blue Metallic Diamond Jubilee Edition Ford Thunderbird with optional T-Roofs Convertible. Currently not running yet. By the VIN this Thunderbird is a:  8-1978, J-Made in Los Angeles, California, 87-Thunderbird 2-Door Hardtop (has optional T-Roofs Convertible top panels), Engine S-400 Cubic Inches , 2-V, V-8, Number 176,218. Because it has the optional "Removable side panel sunroof" added the YZ Valino Diamond Blue padded vinyl roof was deleted. On March 8, 2005 Ford Motor Company sent me a letter verifying that it left the Los Angeles assembly plant with the top panels and that it was assembled on April 15, 1978.

Until December 25, 2004 the owner was Tom Rheder of Ballinger, Texas. I bought it on Christmas Day of 2004. It now resides in Corpus Christi, Texas and is still there to this day.
