SAVAGER!!!! READ THIS!!!! lol sorry my message thing just doesnt wanna work hopefully you see this! I messaged you a while back but once again it never worked. You dont need any modidfications for the headlamps they mount right up with their integrated brackets. Also you can get all the parts from Partstrain.com for around $3-400 i think. It's very easy to do! Thanks and have a good one, Joe
Hi, I'm Joe this is my 1995 GMC C1500 pickup. I got it a year ago when i was 14 and me and my dad have been workin on it ever since.
When i bought the truck it came with the wheels and Eagle #1's
I love 'em. It was in a fender bender when we bought it as well, as you can see from the picture. There was tons of other dents covering the whole car.
Cleaned up and cap removed.
Heres a pic of the beginning of a HUGE project. We took of the bumper to make way for the roll pan, and started doin some bondo work including on the doors where we shaved the handles, and as well as on the tailgate where we shaved that handle. the tailights are off so we can start the shaving of those.
To open the doors from the inside I have (werent done when the pic was taken) buttons installed on these plates which i custom made.
Here I am welding in the filler for the tailgate handle, with the help of my dad.
We got most of the body work done here. We were kidding ourselves when we thought we would start painting that month. Paint prep is HUGE and we just now painted it like 6 months later.
Heres a pic of the new front end we put on it with the huge 30 bar billet grille. :)
Heres a good look at the drivers side shaved tailight and the holes for the LEDs that are gonna replace it.
As of now i can only tell you what else will be done to it.
-Engine, i have a 350 V8 just waitin for us to build :) cant wait
-Seats, im getting the factory seat reupholstered with leather
-Bed, Rhino linin the bed
Perhaps the most asked question ever about my truck is; Where does all the money come from to pay for it, are you just spoiled or how do you get all the money?
Well the answer is this: My dad wanted us to have a project so he bought the truck itself. He has paid for his fair share of stuff as well so yeah part of it is that I'm spoiled a little bit BUT... I have put about $4000 of my own money into the truck so far so i have as well contributed my fair share. I get all the money from working at the car wash, workin for my uncle landscaping and doin stuff like staining decks.
