This is my "Work in Progress" it was originally my sister's first car. Now since I am able to drive my parent's decided I got to choose my car. I chose the nova. And it definitely needs some work. Check her out.

They aren't the best pictures but they will do for now.
My father and I are thinking about a complete restoration. Engine, exterior, interior, everything that goes into a car.

Right now it needs new tires, front end entirely redone.
Within the next year I want to overhaul the engine, (Chevy 350 small block) and keeping it a 350. Also, i am going to sand down the entire body while i am in school.
And I apologize for the picture quality.

It needs a lot of body work, the rear quarter panels are rusted out and there are a number of dents created over the past 31 years and the front bumper has a dent also. Not to mention the grille is shot and as you all well know are hard as hell to find, especially for a '74 4-door

Or future goals are to repaint the body black with either maroon or purple racing stripes...or a mix of the two. The interior which my dad will do will be a slightly original patter but with the colors grey black and red. From then on as I am on my way to graduating from high school I will try to install suicide rear door hinges to make the car more of a family sedan.

I strongly ask that you e-mail or tell me on here suggestions for my restoration project. My e-mail is tazspaz08@hotmail.com

my front end is orriginal and all i did was paint it silver but it is now black again and it looks really good(no one can tell the entire grill is cracked in half. i frond a new one in the salvage yard but they crushed the car b4 i cld get it. my inline 6 still runs, im planning on selling it after i find something to put it in.painting your grill gloss black will help it look a little better.

ive been waitin for an update on dat nova and i would love to see how those suicide handles work out i wanted to do that but i hav no clue how to pull it off and i dont want to pay a lot of money to get it done. i tried to paint my plastic panels and all the paint cracked up and i ended up buyin carpet and covering every piece and it turned out lookin good. my car needs a whole new front end (bushings disc breaks and eway bar. its a daily driver for now until i get my impala. and a grill off a 2 door 74 will fit the same as one off of a 2 door. the whole front clip can come off a 2 door and fit on 4 door. check mine out and let me know what u think.
