ElCamino350ci's 1983 Chevrolet El Camino

I bought this car when I had just turned 16 a few monthes before i actaully got my license. I got it from the original ownwer who had it in Texas for 14 years of its life, putting 100K on the 305 while he owned it. He had the tired motor replaced with a 350ci and only put 40K on by the time I aquired it.

I bought the Bowtie but made the chrome lettering underneath. RIP Dave...never forgotten. This is my version of a tattoo for you.

Those are Flowmaster Original 40 Series under there hooked up to a CatCo Hi-Flow cat through 2.5" TorqueTech tubing. Sounds good for now..but coming in december will be long tube headers, no cats, through the Flows (made possible by the 25 year rule). From here you can also see the 245's in the back, the rims are 15" American Racing Tailgunners wrapped in Futura GLS Super Sports (215's in front) bought from Dave off the Monte Carlo... 4/5/87-5/15/05.. never forgotten man...

I have some advice for you that Ive learned from my Elky. Id seen that you wanted to get a Holley 670. I suggest going with Edelbrock cause they are easier to put on and also alot cheaper. You may have dealt with holleys before but if you have save yourself the trouble and dont. I had a 750 double pumper and all I was able to get hooked up was the trottle cable everything else needed adapters or mods. Well good luck with your project.

Ahh, the el camino, my dream car... It looks nice, I would've done some things different but hey, to each his own right? I've got a Nissan 300zx and before you boo foreign cars hear me out. I'm thinking of a 302 swap. It's been done before but I'm not trying to be original here. I think it would be bad as hell. What do you think?
