This is my love. She is a 1983 Mercedes 300D. I found her from an older couple up north, who had it since new. She was always taken to the dealer for service. I had it brought on a truck to Florida. Once in Florida I restored all that was showing age and wear. Then I put her on the AMG wheels and began with the audio and visual package. It is complete with XM, DVD and a fantastic Pioneer and Audiobahn soundsystem. I have the original parts I took off. This is my third 300D, they are excellent cars.
I am a marine engineer who works on large Merc. diesels on yachts. So, she is well cared for. The only mods to the engine have been an aftermarket air-sep to help her breath better.
I can put the cruise on, put in a movie, and go to Ocala from Lauderdale in a half tank of fuel ! I would like to know what you think... Thanks for looking
