started life as 73 charger se.found in garage,400bb charged battery and drove home with 73,000 miles,no muffler,smoking,car is solid,seen the color in one of the mags,butterscotch wife did not like,almost a yr got car back painted,vinyl top,drove two months smoked a bearing.was going to rebuild 400 motor,found a 71 440hp so i had that built,kb pistons 9-5 compression,$4000 later,time for trans,shift kit,deep pan,3000-rpm converter,$1000,install motor and trans fall 2004,spring 2005 all the extras fall in place.8/34 rearend off a 68 gtx that was found in a inner city garage.body was thrashed bought motor,trans,and rear end,323 gears,$700 cash,had rear redone and installed,still missing little minor stuff.its july and still have'nt drove car yet.runs great in driveway.well its aug 31 and finely got all parts needed for throttle linkage and trans kickdown,all new interior in black,carpet door panels,head liner,looks sweet. drove car down street couple of times.lots of power will smoke tires on demand.fish tailing down the street.man it sounds nice.dynomax ceramic headers.and mufflers,to late in year to register and put on road.will see snow soon.looking forward to next year.about $15,000 so far.
