-2000 Yamaha Banshee
This is the money pit that I had previous to the car.
It has been well modded and is used for Drag racing Sand mountain (little sahara UT) as well as ridding in the dunes. **Sorry about the blue grille! Red one flew off!
It will do 53mph up the face of sand mountain and is still tons of fun in the dunes!
-Mods include: Cool heads W/18cc domes, Wiseco Prolite pistons, Agressive stage two port and polish, Case portmatch, Toomey T-5's, Trued and welded crank, Ported reed cages, Carbon tech low tension carbon fiber reeds, 3/8" reed spacers, Trinity Stage IV intakes w/o boost bottle, 34mm flatslide Mikhuni Carbs, 13"k&n's, lightend flywheel, advanced timing, Barnett Clutch, +4" swingarm, DuraBlue Lightweight adj rear axle (narrow for drags, wide for dunes!),Lightweight alumimum hubs and sprockets, Skat Trak Hauler extreams, Works dual rate shocks.
These are the 13" K&Ns. They bearly fit and I had have a braket made to hold them in the back.
I was the fist person to get one of these swingarms in Utah. Thanks to Dewy at mountain high motorsports for that one!
I also installed a snomobile tach on my bike to help with gearing and sand changes when dragging. BEST thing I ever did! This is at idle.
I wished my car reved like that! With a slight tap of the throttle, it easily revs to 10,740 rpm! I have seen it hit 13,000!
