This is my 89 Camaro RS V8 5L 305 TBI. Purchased for $750, needed new paint. A few cheap parts were needed also (air filter, front brakes, tires, lift supports). The rest Is custumization, I want to get creative yet still classic. (Car when first purchased fresh off the lot, many changhes to come, lots of work).
Figured I'd start under the hood. Not much to look at, it needs to be cleaned. I'm thinking about a dress up kit. The engine is huge for a small block. Sadley the 5L has about 160 miles, but it's still running strong.
This is the view of the car most highway motorist get. Brings a tear to my eye.
The need for paint is obvious. The original wheels are in good condition. I may just leave 'em.
Interior is bland. Ima go black and blue for the inside. Seatcovers, wheelcover, floormats, cd deck.
