All right after over 223,000 miles it is time for a new heart in my ole Ram, I am trying to decide between a stock rebuild or mild build, I all ready break crap with the stock 223,000 mile engine, I am kind of worried about pumping up more HP, the stock 360 Magnum has never left me short on power feel free to chime in with your opinions in my guest book thanks.

OK what is it going to take to make 5 stars, I want this ride at the top so I am adding a page of my rig pulling a 56,000 lb Air Slide, I put the weight on the end I was pulling at about 15,000 to 20,000 lbs. If you see something you don't like please tell me so I know why I am not getting the rating I think this ride should get. I do actually want honest opinions.

Most of the modifications done to the 82 Ramcharger were transferred to the 93.

The body needed a little TLC after getting in a fight with a power pole so the entire passenger side is fresh paint and a new door was installed, I allso replaced the grill.

This 1993 LE 150 Ramcharger was originally purchased by the Utah Highway Patrol for use in Moab UT I have been told it was used for DOT work but I cannot know for sure. The truck still retains it's original 360 Magnum Motor with over 200,000 mile's and still plenty strong and one of the best running motor's I have ever owned. I added a K&N Filter, tuned it up and replaced the water pump, I opened up the exhaust with 3" pipe and a Flowmaster 2 chamber and a high flow Cat. a few other cleans and minor repairs is all she received. The tranny was gone through and the T-case checked out. I swapped over my 3/4 ton Dana's from the 82 (which were originally taken from a 84 3/4 ton Dodge truck,) and put them under the 93, 60 rear and 44 front. The rear 60 has been converted to disk brake's. The front axle sits on a 6" Black Diamond lift and the rear now sits on a Alcan 6" lift spring with half military rap and a anti axle rap half spring, with a rear spring hanger flip. Both the front and rear are stuffed with 4:10 gears and ARB Lockers. Dana/Spicer external clip U joint's and custom drive shaft's from DTI. The Hood ornament and roll bar are two of the original pieces of the 82 that were transferred over. The truck has the 16" version of a 35" Goodyear Wrangler MTR's. I use Rancho Pro 9000X shocks so I can adjust when I am off-road or pulling my camp trailer. I added a KC light bar and light's. The truck has a stereo system cranking out over 900 Watts, with a power antenna so I can listen without catching the antenna on trees, and satellite radio. There is a Autometer Tach to keep the motor from over doing it, and a water temp gage to make sure she stays cool. A Cobra CB radio, And a Garmin GPSMAP 60 CSx to track it all. And finally after 6 months of sitting in my garage my Mile Marker winch is on. I have installed Chrome Molly axle shafts in both front and rear, (due to breakage). And due to breakage I had to replace the rear shafts again, check out below for more info. Also enjoy the video at the bottom of the page.

And don't forget to check out page 2

These are before the 35's

These are after the 35's with the front fenders cut and the factory flares cut, filled in and painted to fit the new cut fenders. With the exception of the one on the rock the fenders were not cut in that photo and the photo showing the rear spring and disk breaks is with the old Black Diamond springs I haven't got any of the Alcan springs yet give me a week.

And here is a photo of the little hill I broke them on, I am coming down with no rear end, both shafts are broke by this time, Moser wont cover there defect they basically told me too bad you only got a half day of wheeling on your $600 shafts. Note never buy anything from Moser.

I have a question for you, ours Ramchargers have the center line vacuum transfer case, have you done any thing to your. I know that you can order a new switch from summit to take out the vacuum crap. Any suggestions would be awesome.

Well unfortunatly progress will be slow. I am in the process of getting it ready for winter. The "new" motor is being pulled from my trailduster and it will be a top end rebuild. The truck will be a combination of things, daily driver-trail truck-street runner. I wanna build the motor to beat all those punk kids with Civics. I only wanna run enough lift to clear 33's. That is the biggest sized tires I will run till the "new" motor needs a rebuild. I like the body lift because it is cheaper and because it is less strain on the drive train. Dodge put the smallest yokes in these trucks and I wanna swap them for bigger ones. Just a brief run-down of plans. Any suggestions for tires?
