This is my 1966 Plymouth Satellite I've owned since 1995. I bought it with a 383 Magnum, 4 speed and since then I've replaced the 383 with a built 440 and rebuilt the A-833 4 speed. The block is bored .030 and filled with JE forged SRP pistons topped with Brodix B1/BS heads that are ported and polished and include Crane adjustable roller rocker arms. I have an M1 single plane intake with a Holley 950hp carb, MSD ignition and Mopar Race distributor. The cam is a Crower solid flat tappet with split lift/duration. Headers are TTI ceramic coated 2" into 2 1/8" primaries with 3 1/2" collectors. I replaced the original, cracked bellhousing with a Lakewood scattershield and replace the original mechanical clutch linkage with a hydraulic kit from Keisler. The rearend is an 8 3/4" with a Detroit "Soft-Locker" and 3:91 gears. I have replaced some of the interior so it is a very nice, clean driver. I used a spare hood to install a reproduction '66/'67 Hemi scoop on it and had it painted. I hope to have the car repainted next spring/summer if time and funds permit. I will continue with the updates and pictures as they unfold.
**I am so far behind with my updates, but I've replaced the front wheels with original Magnum 500's that have been reconditioned and changed to 15 inch. I have the rear wheels in the closet to match that are 15x10's. I have a CAP front tubular K frame to install along with tubular upper control arms. I am in the process currently of replacing the fuel tank.
