INTRO:
Hello, and thanks for visiting. As you can see, the car is a 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88. The car was purchased from a local dealer in the shape you see it in (cherry) for six thousand dollars. Quite a snag.
What a boat.
MOTOR:
This particular car has a 455 C.I. "Rocket" motor producing around 325 horsepower. Of course, it also weighs two tons.
"The biggest block alive"
K & N Filter just got installed. No, didn't have a shop do it. How weak would that be? Anyway, here's the new look of the engine:
INTERIOR:
The car has a white vinyl interior, with a look which the word "classic" describes well.
Hot in the summer, cold in the winter. That's vinyl!
The spedometer goes up to 120, which can probably be buried for around 140 (a theory not yet tested).
69k miles.
The convertible top is automatically put up via a switch on the dash. Just clip on the two latches and you're ready for rain.
EXTERIOR:
No real exterior "upgrades". New convertible top installed, which is valued at around 300-400 dollars.
Face full o' chrome. A real cruiser.
On the wish list is glass packs, probably Holley RedHots.
CLOSING:
That's it for now. Thanks for the comments, questions, and suggestions!
