I'm Jason, 23 years old and this is my 1989 mustang Gt. It is actually the combination of 2 different cars. It's sort of a long story but here is the short version. My first car was an automatic 1989 4 cylinder. After about a year I wanted more so I purchased a 1989 mustang 5 liter automatic. It was a mint condition black and silver ride. One morning on the way to school an older man pulled out in front of me and I ended up totalling the car. My dad and I put everything from the 5 liter into the 4 banger along with some extras including a tremec 3550, Centerforce dual-friction clutch, and 255 lph fuel pump among other things. Now before you start saying wow thats one spoiled shit, I paid for both cars and practically everything on the car myself with money I earned bagging groceries. (lots of groceries..lol) and working as an engineering intern. But without my dad's help there's no way I would have been able to build this car. It's as much his as it is mine even if I did pay for it.
Blue LX hatch 4-cyl automatic. This was my first car and all that is left of it is the frame which is now part of my current car. Everything else from this car went into the trash.
I bought this gt in mint condition here in New Mexico. I only owed my parents a few hundred dollars more and the car would have been all mine but I totalled it before fully paying it off. Everything from this car was put into and onto the LX car.
