cut stock regulator mig welded shut as a cap
Parts needed:
1 Aeromotive 6AN Universal Regulator
1 3 ft. 6AN braided hose
2 Staight 6AN connectors
2 6AN to 6AN fitting
1 90 degree 6AN connector
1 6AN cap
1 liquid filled fuel gauge
1 custom made cap from old regulator
1 1-2 feet 1/4" vacuum hose
1 6AN to Metric 16 x 1.5 adapter (for end of fuel rail)
I got a stock regulator from the junkyard from an NA mx6 to use just in case it didn't work. If it didn't I could still just cap off the original stock one. I used the end of the rail because I didn't have to buy the $40 fitting from MBX and I think the stock regulator may pull fuel away from the last injector, since it sits in front of it. I also reused the copper washer of the plug on the end of the fuel rail to seal the 6AN to 16x1.5 adapter.
