Well. I haven't been on here in a verrry long time. What is new?The 1998 Intrigue is no more. The transmission went out at a solid 292,000 miles. I'm a big fan of the Intrigue and the 3.8 to say the least.Next I got a 1994 Buick Lesabre. Her name was Gertrude. Had custom faded sans-clear coat racing stripes. Ugly on the outside but great on the inside. This also had the 3.8 but the Series 1 instead of the Series 2 like the Intrigue. The Lesabre lasted for about a year when the headgasket started showing signs of submission. Water in the oil...oil in the radiator. Was not a good situation. It was a bummer she only had 170,000 miles. I would rather have just got an entirely new car...and that I did! A fellow from my church offered to sell me his car. AWESOME. I jumped right on it. It's a 1997 Honda Civic HX. It's a first of many things. First Manual transmission. First car outside of GM. First super reliable car. It's a great feeling to have something to drive where you can be confident in it. 180,000 which is not a lot from what I hear about Hondas. I installed the same Head unit and rear speakers I've always had. They're still going strong. I don't care what anyone has to say about Audiobahn. They're solid for me. I am considering putting up detailed instructions on the installation process as it took me all in all 6 hours to install the radio and speakers. I am a noob to the core about disassembling body panels and what not so it went slow. Any suggestions on upgrades for the Civic? Bone stock right now. I'm thinking cold air intake initially. Something cheap or something big and expensive that I can work up to....any ideas?
