This is my 86 Laser XT, it has a TURBOCHARGED 2.2L 135ci 8 Valve Multi Port Fuel Injection Engine. (production #'s for the 86 XT is 6,989) *This is not a Mitsu made car. its all Chrysler Corp.*
The Laser is the twin of the Dodge Daytona, it was like the Luxary Edition.
They were only made from 84 to 86.

The XT was the performance package that was added onto the XE model, it included :chimes for key in ignition and seat belt warning : electromechanical instrument cluster : graphic display message center : 225/50VR15 : special handling suspension which included-performance tuned gas charged struts and shocks, larger front antisway bar, solid rear antisway bar:turbo boost gauge : 2.2-liter EFI turbocharged engine : XT nameplate on passenger side of lift back:

Factory sunroof and leather interior. Its pretty much stock except for the blow thru conversion, cone filter (K&N soon), a manual boost controller from DawesDevices.Com set at 13 psi, a GLHS Stage II computer, 3" high flow cat, 3" Dyno Max Bullet muffler, 3" pipes, 8.5 spark plug wires and a Walbro 255 lph fuel pump. I just got that Kenwood CD player in my car, it doesnt sound to bad.
