After reassembling the interior the car went back to InterCity for the final body work and a fresh coat of paint.

And my headlights were swapped out for the '03 P5 lights. They are black instead of chrome. A marked improvement!

We had to do many test panels to get the paint just right.
First we were just going to lay the Ice pearl over the factory black. But when we did that it turned purple!

Here you can see the difference between the factory black (left) and the new black (right).
So the final paint sprayed on the car is Tuxedo Black from a 1968 Aston Martin with red Ice Pearl!
With that sorted out it's into the paint booth!
