Hi and thanks for checking out my truck I have 2 splw15's in a 12 cubic foot slot ported enclosure. did a 145.8 off the dash with only 1000 watts at a low 35hz at the downers grove SLAPshow on the new audiocontrol. i havent even began tuning yet so with the huge power increase and a TON of small things to do i should do a better score.

I now have two american bass 1500 watt amps giving me a total of 3000 watts rms. My truck will have 3600 watts rms total with 600 going to full range and the other 3k to bass.

I ran the truck at the meca competition on aug 14th and got a 145.0 on the term lab due to a grounded rca wire that ruined the rca outputs on my headunit. a better score than the 145.8 cause the audiocontrol is about 2db up from the term lab. so all things considered not too bad for broken equipment and a low burping frequency of 34hz.

with the same messed up head unit i put up a 145.3 at the MECA IL/WI state finals. and i took second in drive-by 4 at 122.9 decibals. hopefully this season will be better. At another meca show i bumped up to 145.5. All new equipment for this coming season.
this obviously is my truck

And of course the guy in my box picture. I could fit another person in there without too much trouble. that is my little brother in the box and pictures by the way. He is 6' tall and 180 pounds.

The finished box braced with 2x4's with the face and back doubled up.

My second bat with 1/0 welding cable for power and my PA full range amp running temp duty for the subs. update: All this was rearranged for a battery box and three amplifiers, pics coming very soon.

Here are the new american bass amplifiers. they do 1500 rms each. more pics coming. the install is temporary for meca comp. they eventually will be racked.

time to pull the temp 15's and run these guys. they weigh in at over 40lbs each. they got a 340 oz mag, dual 1 ohm 4" coils, a surround that is too big, and are rated at 1400 rms each. they will receive 1500 watts rms each on a burp. notice the drill in the background in reference to the woofers actual size.
