My interior went through one, massive phase of cheese-dickery when I had a custom paint job done back in 2002. Since 2005 I have been going through a complete restoration. Some junk yard parts, others from car club members, and some from parts stores. Heres the full restoration back to stock as it stands now. OE interior trumps custom painted interiors all day.
