This is my Grabber red 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1. It's equipped with a 1971 Boss 429 engine that produces more horsepower than the standard Boss 429 (only 390 hp). This is due to a quite hot Isky camshaft, Dominator intake manifold (D1ZX-9425-FA), Holley 750 dp carburetor and Hooker super competition headers. This is backed up with a four speed manual transmission and a 3.91:1 nine inch traction-lok rearend. The horsepower is now at 554, thanks to a Port and polish, Extrude hone, and a few other mods. Be back later with more info!
This 429 SCJ C6 was created from the long tailshaft 429 C6, and the short tailshaft 351 C6 shown. An "R" servo, extra clutch packs, and a cast iron tailshaft housing were also added to make the correct version.
