NOTE!!! As of the end of July 2002 this car will be going into storage while I move around the world. During that time my mother will be babysitting my car and hopefully keeping it in the condition that it is in now. HOWEVER, I will have internet access and will keep in touch so feel free to leave any comments or email me questions.

currysteph's 1991 Dodge Shadow Well here it is...the final result after 4 years of saving and having the work done my car is practially finished...IF ever a car can really be finished. As you can see by the photo the car is in prestine condition..but thats because most everything has been replaced or upgraded....

currysteph's 1991 Dodge Shadow Here's a view from the rear...with a sneek peek of how the amps are setup in the trunk

currysteph's 1991 Dodge Shadow Wheels often make the car and that is true in this case as well. These are BBS Moda R6 17" wheels with Yokohama 215/45 ZR17 Tires. It's funny how the US BBS distributor said that these wheels and tires wouldnt fit a shadow and refused to sell them to me. Hmmm looks like they fit to me.

currysteph's 1991 Dodge Shadow Here's a side profile...this is what I look like passing you (hee hee) only going much faster ...and my hair blowing in the wind. :)

Inner Beauty ________________________

currysteph's 1991 Dodge Shadow This is an interior shot. I've done some custom decal work on the dash as well as on the steering wheel. The steering wheel got a bit worn and nobody made a decent steering wheel cover so I had to improvise.

currysteph's 1991 Dodge Shadow AGAIN noone makes any guages for my car (seems to be a theme here with aftermarket vendors) so once again I did my own customization. Here I trimmed the guage face plate yellow.

currysteph's 1991 Dodge Shadow Here's the engine as the car was when bought from the factory back in 1991. I had the engine, computer and wiring harness changed out in the conversion.

currysteph's 1991 Dodge Shadow Here's the beast that makes it all worth while today...Mods are listed onPage4

Inner Peace _________________________

currysteph's 1991 Dodge Shadow Here is the Head Unit for my system...its an Alpine 7873 CD player that is XM ready...havent subscribed to XM as of yet...cant see paying for my tunes. Also you can see my boost guage as well as the AudioControl EQ right above the head unit. Additionally you can see the Neon Varad Power cable (turned off)

currysteph's 1991 Dodge Shadow This is the amp and woofer setup for my 1100 watt JL Audio system. Dont ask how many db it does cause I dont know and it doesnt really interest me. My system is setup for clarity and thats it...It bumps but your not gonna hear me 3 blocks away. I also like the fact that my 3 amps fit neatly across the trunk under the covertible drop zone. In this photo you can see the installers "idea" of a completed look (1st Install)...which I wasnt happy with so I took it back and had him add the layered JL Audio Panels to the speaker surrounds and I think it gave it a much more completed look. (2nd Install)

currysteph's 1991 Dodge Shadow This is the rear quarter panel in my convertible...beneath this benign looking speaker grill is 5 1/4 JL Audio mid

currysteph's 1991 Dodge Shadow Here is the custom made door panels. The factory speaker grill is gone and replaced with a much better looking faceplate...behind it lies the JL Audio 6" mid bass with directional tweeters. My system was based on two things sound quality and cleanliness of install. I think I reached that goal.
