I would have to say tho, that putting in a 455 in a Regal isn't a direct swap.
I used motor mount pads and motor mounts from T/A Performance, for a
A-Body , like a GS or a Skylark that had a 455 in them.
Also to help on the install of the engine and to help center it on the frame,
and to also kill two birds with one stone, I picked up a custom made trans
crossmember for dual exhaust and to fit my trans appilcation.
I got it from G-Force Performance, John the owner has designed and fabricated
dual exhaust crossmember for the G-bodies, it fits 350,400,400LTS,700R4,200R4,
& 480LE.
Once installed it help me center the engine in the frame and gave me the correct
depth the eng was to be installed, once there, I marked out the new holes for the pads
and drilled the new holes, ran the bolts through then to the pads and BINGO
it was offically mounted.
These crossmembers also are set up to be far back enough so the correct drive shaft
could be installed.
Heres a link to T/A Performance....they design and build Hi-Performance Buick engines
and parts for them.
