Well, what can I say about my car?
It's a 1990 suzuki Vitara JLX imported from the UK. No damned A/C. If anyone knows how I can get A/C in this thing, please let me know.

Pic Before the paint job. Stripes are gone. But dent is back.

Performance modifications? Nope. I don't have that much road to go fast and there's so much traffic in Kingston that it makes little or no sense. Spend all that money for what, 30 meters before the next stoplight or before you encounter the line of traffic? Waste of time and money. I've decided to enjoy the trip instead.

My Current Stereo ------
MarcDM's 1990 Suzuki SidekickI have a Pioneer Premier KEH-P780 (yes a cassette player [right]). I bought it cuz I thought I might need to play tapes from time to time. currently it's the only tape player I own and it's on it's way out. Soon to be replaced with the Pioneer DEH-P9400MP [below].MarcDM's 1990 Suzuki Sidekick

The head sends signal via monster cable to 2 Pioneer Premier PRS series amplifiers (x220 and x320) powered by stinger 4ga wire and a lightning audio 1Farad cap.

The PRS-X220 amp is bridged at 2ohms to power a Pioneer TS-W253DVC 10in woofer in a cuztom box wrapped in red vinyl.

The PRS-x320 plays a pair of Blaupunkt 4in in the dash and a pair of Blau 5.25s in the back. The highs are handled by a pair of MA Audio tweets in the top of the front doors and another pair right behind the back seats.

My Upgrade Thoughts -----
Thinking of replacing the blaupunkts with MA Audio of the same size and adding a pair of MA65Bs and MA55Bs to the front. This would give me a decent amount of bass up front and some very powerful mids. I'm going to run these off the X320.
The 4" dash speakers and the 5.25 coax in the back (along with the tweets) would be played with the X220.

I want to add a sub amp but I'm looking for suggestions. Please note, I don't want to spend more than US$300.

Bass machine....
I love deep rumbling bass. right now I've outgrown my single 10in setup and I'm looking to upgrade. I was thinking of going with 4 x 8in Rockfords mounted in a fiberglass chamber beside the back seats 2 on each side facing front.
However, I'm torn between that and using 3 MA Audio 10in Woofers or 2 Pioneer 12in. Either way, i want a lot of bass. What do you think? vote in my poll please.

More Pics of the Vitara to follow soon.
