New Leather
For as long as I've owned my LE, I've been looking for replacement leather seats. Long story short is that I finally found a Northwest Automotive Leather in Vancouver, BC who was willing to work with me on the project. I sent them a swatch and they found a really close color match for me. The only drawback was that there was no matching vinyl available and the leather was pretty expensive. I didn't really see either of those as a drawback since it meant I'd be getting high quality all leather seats. A number of us LE owners ended up placing orders and I did the headrest perforations for everyone. NWA was kind enough to send me the headrest panels to perforate, then I sent them back and they assembled the seats. I'm awfully pleased with the final product. The leather is unlike anything I've seen in a car before, and the design and workmanship is much better than Katzkin's.
