SUSPENSION & CHASSIS:The rear shcok tower brace is made by Beat Rush. Its all aluminum, extremely light, strong, and imported from Japan. Hard Dog Fabrication double diagonal sport rollbar. Makes the chassis super stiff! These are my new KYB AGX 8 position shocks, im waiting until spring to install them.THE INTERIOR:Here you can see all of the electronics: the Link ecu keypad, Profec B boost controller, and my new Pioneer head unit. Notice also the custom carbon fiber plate below the head unit that I made to hold my Profec...This is a crappy picture of my custom carbon fiber steering column cover that I made. The stock piece is heavy steel for airbag protection. This piece is 5 layers of pure carbon fiber...it is very light and strong.I had a set of Sparco Speed race seats in the car for about a month, at which point I sold them to upgrade to Sparco roadsters. Well, come to find out, the Roadsters I bought dont like to fit in a Miata, at least not without major surgery to the seat shell...so I am selling them and the interior has stock seats once again. The speed's were mounted as low as possible, with only 1/8" between the seat and the slider, for brackets clearance. I also used special countersunk metric bolts so that the usual hex head wouldnt interfere with the mounting of the slider, thus allowing me to mount it as low as possible(see pic). The passenger side only required elongating the rear holes in the stock sliders 1/16" and drilling two new holes in the sliders. It basically bolted right in, since the seat rails on the passenger side are wider than the drivers side, and only 1/8" wider than the Sparco mounting holes.I also had to make a bracket to relocate the stock seatbelt guide, since there was no possible way for it to work in its old location. The bracket was made from 1/4" steel and reroutes the belt to go through the Sparco so it can move easily. The car used to have a tan leather interior, but I just couldnt stand it, so I did a full OEM conversion to all black. I also did silver accents on the vents, glovebox, and a spun aluminum shift knob that i made on my lathe. Before I installed the turbo I installed Autometer Ultra-Light Boost and Air/Fuel Ratio guages in the center console eyeball vents. The guages are now installed on the A-pillar.I used to have stock seats and blue accents on the interior, but I got sick of the blue, so I went with silver and red. Here's a litttle pic of what the interior USED to look like when I bought the car. I like it better now.
