NEWS 3/11/07- 383ci ENGINE SWAP HAS BEGUN! See page 4 for updates

My sport coupe has been upgraded to Z28 performance with 34mm/21mm sway bars and 305 HO engine. The engine remains pretty much stock with a K&N air filter, Accel supercoil and 8.8mm wires. The 3 speed automatic tranny was replaced with a Turbo 350 with a shift kit. Driveshaft is an aluminum Coleman shaft. Other suspension upgrades include Hotchkis lowering springs, Competition Engineering sub-frame connectors, GPL strut tower brace, IROC wonderbar (steering box brace) and Spohn tubular lower control arms and panhard bar with poly bushings. The gears in the rear are 3.42 with a SLP Zexel Torsion posi unit. The axles were change to the largest available in these cars, 28 spline.
It was repainted from the original red to a basecoat/clearcoat Bright Red. All new weatherstripping was installed to make the car air and water tight.
