INTERIOR
July, 2002: Here's a shot from the driver and passenger side. I ordered the carpet-style dash cover to hide the massive cracks on the dash board.

June 15, 2002: Replacing the old carpeting.
Fixing some rust. Notice the metal plate on the floor. Ten or so years ago when my grandpa owned the car, the catalytic converter got so hot it burned a hole in the floor pan.

Carpet's in.

April, 2003: Here's the front seat re-upholstered.

April 28, 2003: The rear seat re-upholstered.

August 18, 2003: Installed a rear seat shelf cover.
January 31,2005:
The oil pressure gauge has been installed. Took me from 2:30pm - 6:30pm yesterday to get it installed and hooked up, but the gauge wouldn't work because of a bad sender. So I replaced that today and finished it up and it now works. I used a T-pipe to split both senders so I can use both the dummy light and the gauge.

The dummy light and gauge senders, both installed with a T-pipe.
May 3, 2005:
Well, my Actron oil pressure gauge I installed in January decided to die on me so I had to get a new gauge. I have successfully installed my aftermarket Equus 100 psi electric oil pressure gauge.
Here's how I installed the gauge. I used the plate the clock use to be in and ground it out a little so I could slide the gauge in. It looks like it's factory... almost

The gauge in action. The engine is idling high and still warming up.
The Gauge Swap
I started the gauge swap back in February, but was unable to figure out how to hook up the factory tach. So I installed an aftermarket tachometer. I also can't seem to get the factory temperature gauge to work, so I temporarily installed an Equus electric temperature gauge under the dash. I think it may be because of a bad wire for the temp gauge. Next year I am going to install a Painless wiring harness to all of my factory gauges will work.

Here I used the old gas gauge face plate to install my aftermarket tach. This is a 2-inch Auto Gauge Smoke Series tachometer. I have removed it from its original housing to make it fit into the factory gauge bezel.
Here's the gauge cluster installed.

Due to a recent event (such as my fan belt inverting and coming off when I was driving down the freeway causing my car to overheat), I installed this aftermarket Equus temperature gauge under the dash. I thought it might be a good idea now to have something that will alert me to my car is overheating.
August 27, 2005: Out with the old and in with the new. Today I finally upgraded my stereo to the 21st century. Gone now is the factory AM/FM stereo deck. In its place is now a Clarion 200 watt AM/FM/CD and MP3 player.
